The Board of Directors of Radiance Electronics Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr Chong Ching Lai, a non-executive director and the Acting Chief Executive Director of the Company, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from 3 February 2006.

In view of his appointment to an executive position, Mr Chong has stepped down as member of the Audit Committee. He remains a member of both the Remuneration and Nominating Committees.

Mr Desmond Foo Der Chyang, an independent director of the Company, has been appointed the Lead Independent Director of the Company with effect from 3 February 2006. Mr Foo is also Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nominating Committees.
