The Board of Directors of Radiance Electronics Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Steven Ng Cheong Lian as a Director of the Company effective from 1 September 2005.

Mr Steven Ng Cheong Lian is to be considered independent for the purposes of Rule 704(8) of the Listing Manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
